Bio.

Miss Sherri is thrilled to be back teaching at Roz’s Dance Works. She has over 40+ years of experience and has a background in tap, jazz, ballet, pointe, and tumbling. Over the years she choreographed numerous musicals for various local theater groups including Hairspray and The Wizard of Oz. She graced the stage in productions such as Chicago, Into the Woods, and Les Miserables, just to name a few. She has performed at Proctors Theater in Schenectady with their “Off Broadways Babies” who were a featured group in past Christmas Shows. Her favorite dance style is tap and she has developed a unique and advanced style that combines modern and classic aspects of tap. Her goal as an instructor is to promote her love for tap and encourage students to have fun. She believes that if they like what they’re doing and they’re having fun doing it, everything else will fall into place. When she is not dancing she is an IT specialist and holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Computer Science from the University at Albany.
